A small, brave donkey named Bo longs for life away from his daily work in a rural mill. One day he gathers for courage and runs away to fulfill his dreams. On the way he meets a lovely sheep Ruth, who accidentally detached from his flock, and a pigeon with great aspirations. All of them together with funny camels and a few eccentric animals follow the star. Soon they will become the protagonists of the greatest history of all time - tales of the first Christmas.
