Five students of medicine want to know the mystery of what is inaccessible to man. In order to find out what is just outside of life, they take part in a dangerous, bold experiment. By temporarily stopping the heart, they experience the state of near death. Tak, dokładnie o takiej samej tematyce był film z 1990 roku reżyserii Joela Schumachera "Linia życia (Flatliners)", w obsadzie: Kiefer Sutherland, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, William Baldwin, Oliver Platt, Kimberly Scott. Oglądałem go w liceum z kasety VHS i bardzo mi się podobał.
W zasadzie to taki remake filmów o podobnej tematyce, nieco w odświeżonej wersji. Tragedii nie ma chociaż momentami przypomina komedię podczas której sala w kinie ryczała ze śmiechu zamiast trząść się ze strachu. Reasumując, film w sam raz na nudny wieczór :)
