An extraordinary history of the Berlin Wall seen from the perspective of rabbits living there. In 1961, the animals were trapped in a green belt separating East Berlin from the West. They were there until the breaking of the wall in 1989, taking part in subsequent historical events. In this way the Berlin rabbits shared the fate of the then East Germans who, in their isolation from the world, had lived a life of uncertainty under Communist rule.
